Charlotte Dreizen is a Director of Sustainability and Environment at PLASTICS who joined the association in 2022 to lead work related to plastic waste in the environment, including its work on Operation Clean Sweep (OCS). Prior, Charlotte managed the American Institute of Architect’s net zero carbon commitment, ran recycling programs for the Washington, DC government, and educated companies on recyclable and compostable packaging with the Sustainable Packaging Coalition.

Charlotte is a graduate of the George Washington University with a B.A. in International Affairs with concentrations in International Development and International Environmental Studies. Additionally, she is completing her master’s degree in urban & Regional Planning at Georgetown University in Fall 2023, with a focus on sustainability and solid waste. Charlotte is also a TRUE Zero Waste Advisor and produces a video series, “Unpacking Recycling with Charlotte”, with Waste360.
