Mr. Ahmed M. Al-Hilayel is the Health and Environment Director at The Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones “MODON”, overlooking all activities related to industrial environmental management for MODON in all industrial cities, beside his responsibility of water and air quality monitoring, environmental compliance. He joined MODON in 2013 as Environmental Project Manager.
Mr. Al-Hilayel has over 22 years of experience in the field of environmental management mainly related to industrial activities, and before joining “MODON”, he worked at The Royal Commission for Jubail & Yanbu (RCJY) as Air Environment Control specialist for 5 years. Prior joining (RCJY) he was a senior specialist for eco-tourism development for 9 years at The Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage.
Mr. Al-Hilayel has developed several operation systems like MODON Environmental Management System (MEMS) since 2013, and now he is responsible for MODON Sustainability program to drive industries in sustainability approach.
Mr. Al-Hilayel holds a Bachelor Degree in Environmental Science from King Abdulaziz University, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
