Jamal AlGhamdi is a Process Safety Technology Leader at SADARA under the Process Safety department with significant involvement in providing the EH&S Standards regarding implementation of programs to evaluate risks and develop risk management plans at existing facilities and new projects.
He has the responsibility for the development and application of technology, management systems, and hazard assessment tools designed to protect people, property, and the environment by controlling the risks of unplanned events such as fires, explosions, and chemical releases.
Also, He is responsible for coordinating and reviewing the Risk Assessments to define a comprehensive risk management process that reflects Sadara’s minimum requirements for Process Safety.
Before this, he served under SABIC petrochemical and spent over 25 years in the operations of EDC, VCM and EO Ethylene Glycol plant plus EHSS.
Jamal AlGhamdi holds the Chemical Engineering Diploma from Jubail Industrial College.
