Teresa Budworth

Teresa Budworth is a Chartered Safety and Health Practitioner, Fellow of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) and a Chartered Director. During a 30 year career in health and safety, she has specialised in consultancy; Her work on competence, education and training culminated in her appointment as Chief Executive of NEBOSH in 2006. Prior to joining NEBOSH, Teresa combined management of a consultancy operation with her post as a non-executive Director and Trustee of NEBOSH and was Senior Examiner for Diploma Part One from its inception in 1997. She is a Visiting Senior Teaching Fellow for post graduate courses in Occupational Health at University of Warwick’s Medical School. She is a chair of RoSPA’s National Occupational Safety and Health Committee and of the judging panel for RoSPA’s annual occupational safety and health awards. Teresa is Chairman of the Board of OSHCR Ltd, the body running the Occupational Safety and Health Consultants Register, which was established in 2011 by the UK’s Health and Safety Executive and professional membership bodies representing safety and health practitioners.
